LOL My late DH always said, the mark of a true (artist, seamstress, quilter, builder, woodworker, painter, chef) is not how perfectly you can do something, but how creatively you can fix it when things go "wrong"!

Your end result is beautiful.

Amazing how often it works out that way, isn't it?
