I Met a New Friend and Look What She Gave Me!
I joined QB because I retired at the end of October, and after the holidays, I realized I wasn't socializing much. I had not built a huge circle of friends while working because I travelled so much for my job. My work friends have stopped calling me so frequently, so I was feeling a little lost. So thank you everyone for the welcome.
Lynnie reached out to me right away, and yesterday she and I arranged to meet at a Panera midway between our homes. I was floored by her generosity, she gave me this:

Just big enough to throw in a tote bag with an on the go project like EPP or hand applique. Has a built in pin cushion. I love it!
We spent hours talking about our cats, our quilts and our families, and I'm sure we will be getting together often.
I hope it was ok to put this in a new thread, I am still getting the hang of things here!
And thank you to the person who posted the quick instructions on resizing photos in MS Paint!

That is great. I only know Lynnie through her posts and it is very easy to see what a sweet person she is through her writings. There are so many awesome members on this board and I have met some wonderful people here and made some very dear friends through the QB. A belated welcome to you from about 4 hours north (near Albany)!
