How awesome that you got to meet some of them. I saw their quilts when we were living in the DC area. Such talented ladies.

So interesting and the quilts are very colorful. Janeen, I saw a vehicle today that had your avatar insignia on the back window. Will you tell me what it stands for? Thanks, Jan

Very cool! I've seen several shows about them on TV, but never seen their work in person. Lucky you!

A blue star parent is a parent with a child in the military during war time.

A gold star parent is a parent who has lost a child in battle during war time.

Thanks Janeen. I learned something today and would like to thank you and your child for their service to our great country.
