I just finished my king size quilt.. Only you guys would apperciate this news. I have made so many quilts for evryone else .. but this one is for my bed.. I will post pictures as soon as the sun comes up.. I am so darn proud! My husband fussed at me for going to the laundry mat at 9 at night to wash and dry it.

It is SOOOOO GORGOUS..... and I MADE IT!!!!

This is my excitement.. the colors are blue and white .. the borders are tan and blue.

I quilted this on my sewing machine.... I stitched in the ditch every vertical line. WHAT A JOB.. that is why it took so long. The borders I quilted with either wavy lines or straight lines.

What a great quilt! You have given me encouragement to start my DIL's quilt this year. It will be in the anvil pattern using batiks in rusts and greens and golds. I have a few pieces set aside and will get the rest at the quilt show next month. Looking Good Girl   :!:

Gorgeous! It's almost (not quite) like the pride you feel after giving birth--now you have something to show for all your hard work!

So how many quilts have you planned while working on this one????

Very pretty. I think the log cabin block may be my all-time favorite since it can be used so many different ways. Love your choice of layout.
