so yesterday morning my daughter sat down to work on her 4 patch posy -- she sewed all 30 blocks!!!! Today we bought fabric for alternating squares. So now it's onward to sewing a top together. I can't believe how quick she sewed these together!

Yea for you and your DD!
Another 4PP is born ... and looking lovely.

Curious about the original fabric ... and what you have chosen for your alternating squares. Perhaps post some pics? thanks!

Aren't daughters (and nieces) full of energy when they decide to do something!

My niece did just the same thing - created and finished her first quilt in one weekend worth of work (after I set her up with the process, pattern, material, instructions, and batting)! Congrats to your daughter on such nice work so far. PLEASE show us what the quilt winds up looking like when she is done!

She's doing awesome! I'm so proud of her! (she's 6!)never expected her to finish all the blocks in one day! I will definitely post pics of her progress and original fabric.

beachlady: school just let out friday -- give me a week or two and I'm sure I'll be ready to give her up for a bit
