I agree that it's very "busy" but your blocks look great, and solid sashing would make it look even greater! Go for it!!!!!!

I think the pathways idea is ideal. Make the pathways with gray or brown pebbled fabric to mimic gravel or small stones.

I like it, but I am partial to large flower print. I think they would look lovely with a green sashing. Like being in the garden.

I like it. A lot! Any chance a smaller block would enhance the kaleidioscope affect? 6" or 5" ?

I was just wondering what the blue block would look like if you put the bigger white flowers in the center .

I am liking it ALOT, and I think the sashing idea is great especially if you can make it look like pebble walkway. Can't wait to see further progress.

I really like it. Looks like spring time!

Take a look at the one "Brenda M" did, May 26 11 The way she shashed it is fantistic! You might consider doing something like that. Brenda's fabric is beautiful, and rather busy, tho not as colorful as yours. Just a thought.

Try smaller blocks, perhaps 3" or 2-1/2", and I think you might be happier.

The smaller/busier the print, the smaller the block size.
