Ditto. I hope you find out more about it. Maybe the people that you got it from at the yard sale can tell you more about it.

I love all the things you guys think up...
I didn't think to look at how it was cut; but I just did and it's hand cut not rotary cut. All these things are a piece of the puzzle.
Thanks

Check with your local library for books on old quilts. Also ask at local museums about their old quilts. Let us know what you discover please. :)

I would guess at least Civil War. There are repo's out there but if it was unused, could very well be in very good condition. I have some Civil War quilt era fabric that is in great condition so hopefully yours is. It appears to have appropriate yellowing.

Does anyone here have any knowledge on these fabics.
Hopefully the pics will attach.
I have taken another look at the patterns and it looks like someone made this out of mens old shirts , maybe someone lost their loved one and thought to use the shirts to make a quilt that would keep him closer.. just a thought.. it still seams like the 50s..just look at the one that looks like a cuff on one end of the pattern the 3rd pic at left top , the brown and black stripe it looks just like a cuff on a shirt..the flowers maybe from some curtains and the last 3 pics maybe PJs..

can't wait to find out ..

I have no idea but it just does not look that old to me, neither the style nor the fabrics, nor the condition either....are you sure it wasnt 1950s?
