I like it. That green makes the colors pop. Great job so far.

I love the blocks, especially the way you put the birds in the center. Love the different colors. I think it looks great without the sashing.

NO they are not too dark. I love those blocks. Love the birds in the centers. Way too cool.

One thing to think about. If you do not add sashing .... will the seams nest or will there be too bulk. If it was my quilt I would add sashing.

What fabric are you going to bind it with? Perhaps a 1 inch sashing of that fabric between the blocks would work if you think you need just a little block definition. The blocks are nicely done, very attractive.
