Lucky girl! My grandmother had a machine like this. I have no idea what happened to it after she died--my grandad probably gave it away to somebody.

I have a question about these vintage machines.....can they be used to do free motion quilting? Anybody know? The feed dogs don't drop but can be covered. Just wondering. I have a couple of old Singers...not a Featherweight, though, darn!!

I was going to say the same thing with regard to the machine originally being her mom's..
