I do like the veritaged. Could not figure out how quilt the different colors-thought I was going to do each section with a different color thread and then I found about verigated thread. This is the first time I have used it.
I am sort of new to quilting. Just started last summer. This is my 7th quilt

First I Spy-wasn't really sure what it was when I started it. Just heard people talking about them so I googled it. :D I didn't have a pattern. I started with the 4" squares and made them into snowballs and made four patches to seperate them. The bow ties fit since the babies grandpa is known for wearing them.

Only your 7th? Bravo 2 Doods!
I did a baby quilt not long ago and used a pastel verigated and it just added so much to the overall effectg. I don't think every quilt would call for it, but when you get it on the right one, it's pretty cool. :)

I have a couple of these quilts to make in another year's time for a few friends who have or having babies this year.... by time I get started on them and make them and complete them, they will be old enough to play with them!! they look so fun to make!

Awesome work!
