I'm working on two I spy quilts for my two year old granddaughters.
One of the GD (Kerri) dad races, so hers is the one with the race car in it and the other GD (Camilla) her dad is a farmer so it had to have a John Deere tractor in it.

Oh Pam, I'm glad to see this, as I mentioned I'm interested in this sort of quilting. It's completely cute! I can just imagine the time spent sitting on the floor (or in bed) looking for the "i" for ice cream!

Great picture choices for the blocks. Must be fun collecting the fabric for them.

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments. They went together real fast. The pattern was from quiltville. The little girls have seen them and get real excited looking for the squares we ask for.

I will be making another one or two for our quilt challenge we are having here on the board. I'm giving it to our ambulance service, for children in accidents.

Brought this thread up again because Renebobby had a question on it. Thought if she seen it ---it might answer her question better.

    Thanks Melissa,

    It's a pattern from quiltville called I spy a 4 patch.

The blocks are 4 inch finished blocks. It goes together real fast.

Those both look great Pam. The kids will love them! I've finally collected all my novelty prints for the ones I'm doing but I need to decide on the other colors I want to use (where you used gold & brown). My novelty blocks are mostly bright colors (reds, blues, yellows, orange, green, some white & blacks). I'm having a hard time making a decision. :(
