Beautiful design...really shows up on this quilt. Is it done with a twin needle. You bet we want to see your practice work as it is stunning. I love the color choice for the quilt also.

I absolutely LOVE the feathers. You clearly see the design and it does not detract from your fabric at all. The scale is perfect.

Wow, those are wonderful feathers on a beautiful quilt. Glad you finally could post some pictures. Now I want to see some snowflakes on something, That is what I would have had you do on my snow business quilt if you could have done it had I had enough extra in the backing etc. And it would have been beautiful too.

Here's the black and white one I posted. I must say, I'm extremely thrilled that you can't see the quilting. The lady I quilted it for won't be able to see it either. This was a hard lesson to learn. If you have a busy quilt, don't ask the quilter to custom quit it. If she has any sense, she won't, lol.

Jackie, I think you're a little past the "learning" phase! I think you're a master! Good to see posts from so many old friends--Melissa, Sue, Amma, Terri. I haven't posted anything for awhile because I can't figure out how to post a pic since they redesigned the website, but I've been busy!

Oh, I love those big loopy feathers! They are so light and feminine, and perfect for that quilt!

Your quilt is beautiful. Great job on the feathers. You are right, can't see the quilting in the black and white quilt.
