my mom brought me back the key chains from one of her summer/fall trips. They are cool, but too teeny tiny for me!!

this is the quilt top i saw last summer that inspired me....

Your mom will be so surprised. Can just imagine the tears flowing when she realizes you have completed this.

Please be sure to include some history to this quilt so generations forward will be able to relate this quilt to your granny.

There will definitely be a detailed label on the back - in fact, the original strip of tumbling block that she started will be part of the label.

That is a wonderful idea! I think your quilt is quite beautiful and has a great history behind it. Can you imagine, 3 generations!

Please post a picture once it's quilting. I am very interested in knowing how you it will look and if you are going to hand or machine quilt it.

You did a fantastic job and should be very proud!
