for my Cousin Cindy and her family (in Virginia). We've been to visit 3 times over the last few years and these are various snapshots from the trips and family.

it's the Shutterbug pattern by Jean Boyd (using the clover iron-on 1/4" bias tape - love the stuff!)

How adorable with all the family pictures! What a treasure your quilt is. Your cousin will love it.

through the inkjet printer on 8.5 X 11 fabric, stabilized by freezer paper. really easy to do and much easier to use than the store-bought kind. actually, i originally tried the store-bought kind on the top 5 pictures, but the stabilizer backing stuck so hard that it stretched the fabric when i pulled it off (and it's pretty flimsy fabric).

so i reprinted on my 'homemade' stuff! just get a good thread count solid (this was the Kona solids from jo-anns). don't use steam when you iron the freezer paper to the fabric and make it larger so you can trim it down to fit into your printer. that way your edges will have a good 'seal' and they won't jammed or get ink on them.

They will love that. Is there a site that teaches how to put pictures on material. I have never done it. Not sure I'm even capable of doing it with my limited knowledge of computers. But I do love it.

here's one - except i bypassed the BJ2000 steps because it is a wallhanging and won't be washed. but the freezer paper steps and all are how i do it.
