Today I stopped by Hobby Lobby and found this fabric. It is meant to be a child's soft book, but I am going to cut it apart and put sashing around each block, maybe even two sashings, as well as borders to create a sofa size quilt for my aunt who collects anything with mice on it. What do you think? Will it make for a cute quilt?

It was 50% off, so it only cost me $3.50!!

Just a thought, not sure if it's correct.
I think since it's made for a book, all of the story is jumbled up so the pages flow right in the book.
Maybe you've already thought about this, but I think you'll have to rearrange them to make the story flow the right way in the quilt. Right?

Great find!

I have seen others make quilts from the book panels and they are always really cute. Your panel sure looks like it would be cute. Bet your Aunt will love it!
