For the closure I stacked two buttons together and added a few across the front pocket and beads to the side ties. I also put a magnetic snap on the inside (I'm so glad I did) which was a nice addition.
I have to say - I'm hooked . . .
Does the board have a pattern for this bag or where can I get
it?

Great looking purse.

I have made six now and working on a larger one to be used as a diaper bag and then as a carry all bag.

Each one I make I add something to it to make it a little different.

And they are fun to make.

Blessings to you,
Sandi

After I got started it only took about four hours. But it was a fun four hours. I think it took longer deciding what to finish the front with!! The wonderful ladies at my LQS were trying all different buttons on the front for me! It was fun.[/quote]

heres the information where I got my pattern. I have seen it in a lot of stores as well as online.

oops I meant to post this info!

I purchased it at my LQS and it's by Quilts illustrated. Designed by Penny Sturges. #ps008 Bow Tucks tote. There's two patterns and this is the larger one. Several stores carry the pattern online as well.
