I actually bought that fabric at JoAnns today. It was all on sale. And it is going to be the beginning of my stash collection. I bought 1 yard of each...but only needed a fat quarter of each originally for the quilt I at first was thinking about. :) So technically, I have 3 fat quarters more then I was planning. But the fabric was $2.99 a yard, and just one fat quarter is $1.99 so I think I did good.

Love your fabrics - it would be really dramatic if you pick one very vibrant colour and use it sparingly-red, purple, yellow, whatever *zings* for you.

I did Turning Twenty in black and white for my neice as a wedding gift. She loves it.
Do a search for 'wedding quilt' posted about March 2,2010.
It was a fun quilt to make. Let me know if I can be of any help to you.

Happy New Year.

Those colors are yummy!!! I am doing a black and white quilt, I think I may use a splash of bright aqua. I layed some different colors with the B & W and I really liked the aqua...

Thanks for the advice. I do like that idea of aqua. I will have to see if I have some red/white fabric...
