Do not ever give anyone that little the power to steal your joy. This quilt is absolutely excellent, professional quality work. There is no reason you should ever feel small or little. He apparently showed his ignorance when he opened his mouth. You were much the better person for not giving him the satisfaction of a nasty reply. Bet he was itching for someone to argue with him. So sorry he hurt your feelings. So sorry that he is such a miserable person-sure would hate to live in his skin!!!!

Its beautiful. The man was clueless. I would never have left. I would have told him to mind his own business and possibly more. And if my hubby had been present when it happened ...well,look out!

Your quilt is gorgeous! Hugs to you girlfriend! Don't let some grumpy "resident expert" ruin things for you! He doesn't know what he's talking about~

Your quilt is beautiful!! People who are obnoxious and rude are people who are not happy with themselves. Here's a hug!

This was a large full size which I had quilted double feathered wreaths on, so it took about 15 hours of quilting time. He grunted and made a comment about he bet the fabric was even new. Then he went into a loud and lenghty speach about how women these days don't know how to make a quilt. How they (quilts) should be made from scraps of clothing. Should never be made from new material. Should all be done by hand, etc. on and on. I really felt small. I finally folded my quilt and went to my car to wait on my husband.

Your quilt is absolutely beautiful and your quilting is fantastic. :-)
