I have a couple of the Panamanian panels and wasn't sure what to do with them. Love your idea! Do you mind if I copy yours?

I never knew that panel was called a mola. My Dr.'s wife was a fiber artist and she made a few of those that he hung in his exam rooms. I always thought they were based on aboriginal art from Australia. That is a super cool bag.

The pattern is from Ineke Berlyn's book The Quilted Object. Hope you are able to find. Thanking you!

Molas are from the San Blass Islands in Panama. Their work is amazing!

Oh yes an original Mola from the San Blass Islands in Panama. My brother brought it back for me!

I buy my jeans from The Barn, a Charity run re-cycling shop by The Pink Ladies from King Edward Memorial Hospital. At a cost of only $5, so no guilt cutting them all up!
