Default Indian quilt

A good customer of mine ordered a Queen sized quilt for her daughter's graduation. They live in South Dakota & she is a direct descendant to Pocahontas. My BFF sent me this panel for Christmas & when my customer ordered the quilt I showed it to her & she loved it. Now to make it larger. I'd seen the eagles on Pam Bono's site as a free download & decided they would look good on the 4 sides. Now what to do with all the open space in the corners? Bear paws, of course! I really liked the way it came out. I took the colors of the eagle & incorporated them into the borders, but to separate them, I used the rose color & did a little piping. I've sent a picture of this to the customer & they totally love it! I was really hoping they'd hate it so I could keep it myself!! The 2nd pic shows the piping. Hope ya'll like it as much as I do!!

I love your quilt, it's beautiful. I have this panel and you have given me the inspiration to do something instead of just looking at it. Thank you for sharing.
