I've been watching this board, and really like the people, pictures, links, and suggestions!

This is my second attempt at a quilt--started quilting this last October. It is a present for my secret pal at work. I have enough time to put another together; I'm not totally happy with the color combos.

Second pic of baby quilt is first attempt. Squares aren't square! It is warm and cuddly, though!

Since October I haven't cooked, cleaned, or done much wash....Seems like trend!

Pretty quilts and yes the cooking and cleaning will take a back seat to the quilting

First things first! Housework is more faithful than any dog, cat or man. You can ignore it for days, weeks, or even months and it will patiently wait for your return. You can cheat on it by helping a friend clean her house and it will still wait. Quilting is so much more fun. Love your quilts.

There is nothing wrong with the color combination on the first quilt. Those colors go very well together. Both quilts are very nice. I would be very happy to receive either one of those. I only wish I did as well on my second attempt.

those are really nice quilts. And very pretty! When I first quilted, I was told that one sect of people always make a mistake in their quilts( Amish?) because nothing or no one is perfect except God. That's why all my quilts have mistakes! LOL
