It always seemed like too much trouble to do tumbling blocks until I saw a brilliant person on TV (don't remember who) do it with the strip piecing / 60 degree angles method. There are no inset seams and it is a snap to put together. I don't have a pattern to link you to, I just watched and copied! :mrgreen: It went together FAST. It took me as long to hand-stitch the binding as it did to piece the blocks.

I'll have to try to find that strip piecing instructions. That sure is nice and such pretty colors!

I would love to have instructions to do that with strips. Have always wanted to do one but can't do y seams.

Yep, Celeste, that's pretty much it! Thanks for finding it.
Now I'm on to bigger and better. In fact, Lee, I'm about to attempt to duplicate the beautiful block in your avitar with my leftover bits of blue! (Hope you don't mind!)
