I participated in the IRR 2 and received my finished top back in ... late August, I think? I added a final border, pieced a back, and sent it to Candlequilter.

This morning, I had some awesome pictures in my mailbox! Can't wait to get my hands on this; she'll be sending it back soon, so maybe late this week!

I have to go back and look up my rounds. Someone was kind enough to send along a piece of fabric, the red w/ gold metallic, that I then used for the binding.

Turnaround time for the quilting AND binding is amazing... I just took a quilt in to be done at LQS and won't get it back until the New Year. Candlequilter was less than two weeks! I asked for something Christmassy & she sent me pictures of some pantos she had; I chose holly w/ berries. She used a gold on the top and an off-white in the bobbin. Love it!!

How absolutely beautiful that is, an the memories it holds, if only it could talk about where it had been.

I love your quilt. WOW!!
I sent Candlequilter a quilt top that was made by my 96 year old Mother. My Moms eye sight was bad. The top looked beyond saving to me. She put the thing together and quilted it. It looks like a wonderful work of art. In fact it is. I can not do pictures .
