International Quilt Festival of Ireland - Pictures of SOME quilts!!

Here are a few pictures from the festival -I will try and add captions so you know who has done what!! Please look at the hands!!! Aren't they fabulous?

I must apologise in advance the number of pictures - I appreciate how hard this is on peole with slow internet - up until last month I was one of you!!! But I have fast broadband after a seven year wait for it to come to the side of our hill here in Ireland!!!

This first post is soem of the Chocolate decadance exhibit. The one that looks like pacman won!!

Wow, thanks for the quilt show! Some seriously beautiful quilts on display. The Pac Man is very nice but I LOVE the chocolate bar for originality. I think the Hydranga is my other favourite and the Log Cabin mini is amazing!

Love them all but my all time favorite is the crazy patch. It is so soft, looks misty and heathery. Beautiful. Thanks for taking the time to show these.

Wow, thank you SO much for sharing. Just love to be able to "attend" quilt shows all over the world. Isn't the internet amazing? Can't decide what my favorite is...doesn't matter as all are great. That little log cabin has such tiny pieces....what patience. Again, thanks!!!

Thanks for showing us! No wonder the "pacman" won! Look at those borders! Love everything about it.

Oh my, I replied after the first set, look at all of them! The flower applique is incredible!

What a treat to see these quilts. Thank you so much for taking the time to take pictures and post. I couldn't possibly pick a favorite they were all fabulous. The log cabin mini, thank you so much for getting your finger in the pic to give us scale. My jaw literally dropped when I saw how small it was.
