If I were doing it I would put a green border and then a red and white stripe candy cane binding.

Really clever quilt. I think your border should be one that 'reads solid' rather than the piano key concept. There would be nothing to set the border off if it competes with the quilt that already has that scrappy look. If you really wanted the piano key effect what about three or four darker prints? That would contrast with the lighter quilt.

Nice work! I don't have any ideas, but I think your quilt looks great as is. Maybe just make a few more diamond blocks to get to a size you like? Not every quilt needs a border.

I would add a small white stop border. Then a small print with no white in it as an outer border; perhaps 5 inches wide.

I love everything about this quilt! I really want to make one of these, is this your own pattern?

That is a very sweet quilt. Nice way to enjoy those fabrics for a long time to come. I'd do a dark solid border to frame it.

I've never seen one like that and I really like it. I would like the white snowflake border with a red or green binding.

Very cute and festive. I would go with a solid border to frame that pretty picture.

Great quilt. Lots of fun to find all the different Christmas objects. Great pp'ing. I would like a solid border. Not so sure about the piano key. It already has a lot going on and I wouldn't want to detract from that. But that's me, maybe playing it too safe.

I love how you 'fussy cut' many of the diamonds; cute quilt; yes, solid borders or a Moda type.

Such a good idea for making an unusual Christmas quilt, I think I will have to "steal" your idea. Okay?

How about a border of scrap diamonds, all in one direction, but with a different background (red or green).
