i like the idea of dark blue for sashing. Please show us the finished top! I love the bright colors you used!

Absolutely beautiful and bright, I would choose a dark color out of it for the sashes.

Wow, those are pretty blocks! I would pick one of the colours from the quilt for the sashing. If your keeping it, pick your favorite colour, if your niece is getting it pick her favorite colour.

Pretty awesome quilt~ I too would sash with the blue, possibly with the darkest one in the top. Then I would bind it with strips of all the colors you've used. This is pretty cool and you did a great job!

It's beautiful! I think I'd choose the dark blue for sashing and binding, just so it wouldn't detract from the stars and get too busy. I don't see any black in the blocks, so not sure that would even be a choice for me. You did a great job!

Paper piecing is fun, but can be time-consuming, too. I have a box I'm keeping my "tests" in, so hope eventually to make them into something...only two so far. lol
