Last night, I took four quilts into the big house to get pictures taken. SIL was home and he was helping. He was so interested in the round robin concept that I decided to not wait until his quilt was quilted before letting him know what all of you had done.
So, I took it in to him and the boy and I walked into the room with the quilt ready to unfold for SIL's pleasure. We held it up and it took him a minute to realize that this was HIS quilt!
So, we talked about it for awhile, and then I said:
Now, you waited for ten years for the block (which he did recognize right away!) ... I can now relax for another ten years before quilting it."
SIL says: No ... faster than that because I don't think I can wait ten more years for MY quilt!
LOL ... he was properly impressed with all your hard work <wave>
