It does get easier on the 2d and third... if I use one technique that I don't like, I try a different one on the next. And doing 3 allows for chain piecing... couldn't do that with one block at a time. Please post yours on our DJ thread http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...n-t175669.html You can join in any time

And here I sit, trying to decide if I can be precise enough to begin a Dear Jane with all of those tiny little pieces. Your blocks are magical and will be heirlooms for your family for generations. Your use of color is excellent and your ambition is immense. Best of luck funishing them all.

Wow - I can't in my wildest dreams imagine doing Three DJ quilts at one time. It took me 17 months just to do one. Your blocks and triangles look great - all these will be beautiful when completed.

What a fabulous job you are doing. I like scrappy ones best, but then I like scrappy quilts. Be sure to keep up updated on the progress of your quilt. I'm also doing a scrappy DJ and have about 2-1/2 rows to make of blocks and then I can finish putting the rows together and sashing them. I love this quilt as I can sit by the TV and sew the pieces together. It will be completely hand sewn and quilted. I call it my heirloom quilt and hope my girls will treat it as such.
