This is my Quilt for Kids quilt. I got it finished yesterday...just got to wash and mail it back. Mine had cows dressed as cowboys. I really had fun doing it and it was so fast!! My son thought it was his " 'tars" quilt, which is 5yr old speak for a guitar quilt he saw in one of my magazines recently. He really wants it. I had to explain to him that mommy was making it for a sick little boy. Well, he decided to name that boy Jo-Jo. Don't know why he choose that one..but that is now his name and the name for the quilt. Adrian even drew him a pic that I will be sending along with the quilt. I am wondering if I should use that drawing on the back as another label...I'll have to check the instructions. Anyways, I will definitely be doing more and I have told everyone I know about. My LQS is telling the groups that do blankets in the area from the nusing homes/church groups and even posted it in their store!! Lots of interest out there!! Hope you enjoy!!

That's so cute! I love the fabric. And Adrian sounds adorable! What a sweetie to let "Jo-Jo" have what he thought was his "tars" quilt.

That is so adorable! And very touching of your son's heart - so very giving! Jo-Jo will be so tickled with it. The drawing on the label sounds great - Adrian would love that!! Good job!!

Adrian will get his 'tars quilt one way or another. I hinted to my mom it would make a great gift. If she is unable to do it...I will do it for him of course!!

That is one cute quilt. Thank your son for "sharing" the "tars" quilt with an ill child. You are teaching him sharing as well as compassion. Good job MOM!! I have 2 Quilts for kids kits. One is finished, the other is being quilted and should be finished tomorrow. Will post pics. The fabric they send in the kits is ADORABLE.....

Your quilt is very cute. I love the fabrics. I bought some novelty fabrics today at Joanns. One is of dinosaurs. I think I might see a future kid quilt in the making....lol if only I had enough lifetimes for all the quilts I want to make, heck I already have enough fabric for at least 3 lifetimes!!
