Although she graduated in 2007, her quilt is finally done. It's HUGE! 96 x 121. I did the binding by hand in 3 days. One day I did one long side and one short side. The next 3 days my hand, wrist and arm hurt so bad I couldn't stand it. (Prior injuries.) I made pillowcases to match. Finally, I gave it to her yesterday. (4 years after graduation due to a heart attack, open heart surgery, deer accident)

That is a gorgeous, gorgeous quilt. The colors are stunning in that design. Think of it like this, she is older and will appreciate it more. It is just so gorgeous.

What a stunning quilt! She will treasure it even more because you still managed to create it for her after all you had to go through.
It will always be a reminder for her to just keep trying.

Deer accident???? Sounds both interesting and scary. Your quilt is beautiful. I know Brittney loved it.

I'm sure she loved it and the time wouldn't matter just the fact you are still here to give it to her. I hope your health is better now.
