Default Just completed a scrappy quilt top

The other day I asked for ideas for 2.5" strips. Several really good patterns were posted. I decided on a modified Log Cabin pattern -- I kinda made up my own pattern. It was fun; unfortunately, my pile "grew" as I'm a controlled scrappy person and "had" to cut more strips, lol. I'm calling it "Sunny Log Cabin" because of the yellow centers. By the way, the centers are 4.5". The blocks are 14.5"; 3 blocks by 4 blocks; 45" by 60".

The only way I can do a scrappy is using some control. I wish I could not care what color goes with what. I'm sure it's a lot more fun. You did a wonderful job.

Very pretty. I am using up my scraps but, I keep coming up with more scrap. I don't know if it is possible to ever use them up.

Jingle, that's exactly how I feel. My 2.5" tote is fuller now than before I started this quilt. But it's because I found some more strips in a plastic drawer; was looking for more colors to use and I "thought" I had more. Wow! I found more strips & more 5" squares!
