I want one! You did a great job. I love your background fabric that the monkeys are playing on. I know they will love it.

ooooooooh that's from the Debbie Mumm book for kids!!! I have that book and there are some real darling quilts in it!!! I made the courthouse steps one with the little pictures of sunshine and houses in the middle block! Only I didnt' do those little pictures and left it plain. I loved how it turned out!

Beautiful quilt!! The monkeys make it so whimsy!!!

I love the color combination with the monkeys and balloons. the quilting with bananas must be incredible, did you make the banana pattern yourself? I think any child will love it until they are 90!!!!!!

Cutest quilt I've seen in some time!

Talking about pin basting.... have you ever tried the spray basting? That is the technique I was taught in my beginners quilt class and have never pin basted. I love the spray basting. Try it if you haven't already. My favorite is Sullivan's that comes in a pink can, Hancock's carries it and I would only buy it when it was on sale.

Sue,
I like the spray basting too. I have tried the basting gun and pins, and I don't like the holes they leave. I'm working on my biggest sprayed quilt, it is 50 x 60. I'll see if it gets more difficult as I go.

really cute! I don't like that pin basting either and that's what I was doing today until I remembered my basting spray. Boy, that sure helps! Try it.
