K.P. Sent me this lovely quilt..this is a popular fabric with the lilacs..I have gotten quite a few and I have one in my studio waiting to be quilted which also uses this fabric....and one on the way.

It's a beautiful fabric!
This blocks is Squares within Squares 2 on quilter's cache. I have made several quilts using this block myself....very nice to showcase a favorite fabric.
I decided to quilt feathers and ribbons in the center of the quilt...it softens all the lines...and flows nicely. I finished it off with half circle bumps in the 4 patches and feathers to top it off.

I used hobbs polydown batting.

I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA.

Thanks for looking.

This is a beautiful quilt; colors, quilting & all.
Is the batting 100% polyester?

What a nice quilt to view with breakfast. Love the way the feathers soften all those harsh straight lines. But then I just love feathers. You do them so well
