Here is the KCS Airplane quilt pattern you inquired about of July 27th. This was marked on another page as the replica of the "Lucky Lindy".

Copy of explanation: "This airplace pattern was designed after Lindbergh made his successful flight across the Atlantic Ocean in 1928. His airplane was called the Spirit of St. Louis. But the qilt patch is called Lucky Lindy. To organize your block, piece a is for the two sides and the wings. b is for the foujr corner squares; c and d are the plane nose and two side pieces. Pattern piece i is the tail of the plane, and it is the fill-in piece behind the tail. Piece g is for the two side pieces for that section. This pattern is for a 9.5 inch square block. This is not a hard pattern, but take care to make the seams even and the corners neat."
