I saw this quilt some time ago and was going to make it for my sister who has been teaching for 35 years but decided not to at the moment. You did a great job on the quilt.

We met all the teachers before school started and I liked all of them. I was just hoping for more experience. The only person I discussed that with during the school year was my wife. When we gave her the quilt, I told the teacher that I started out a bit disappointed but she more than made up for inexperience with her enthusiasm and energy. She actually laughed when I apologized. I’m glad it all worked out the way it did. This teacher is one we hope to keep in touch with as the years go by.
