Default King size log cabin

This was my first (and so far only) king size quilt. A good friend of my bf's had me make it as a christmas present for his wife this past year. He picked the colors he wanted and told me I could pick the pattern. I've always wanted to do this one. I did it completely on my regular machine including the quilting. I was extremely happy with how it turned out though I'm not sure I want to do a king size quilt anytime soon! It is huge, my teen son and brother were standing on the sofa holding it up. Oh and I did it completely from start to finish in 1 month!

"This was my first (and so far only) king size quilt." Loved your comment - a friend made a king sized quilt and named it "Alpha and Omega"...the first and the last...and she had someone else quilt it for her.
