Default King Size Primary Color Quilt

My cousin requested I make him a quilt for two years. He lost a son at Christmas last year, then his mother shortly after, so I said ok. Then he told me it was to be a king sized quilt. Living F-T in a camper this is like the old saying about eating an elephant!! I couldn't spread it out anywhere inside or on our deck to check things. As you can see, it's reversible. I used all the fabric I bought for it as he was very picky about color, etcetera. I made it in three panels as you can tell by the strips of blue down the front. Just before finishing it I had to have my sewing machine gone over as it didn't like a king sized quilt with 2-layers of batting. There is a lot of bulk and weight there!! It's takes me and my DH just to fold it!! I am so glad to have it done!!!

Your cousin will be very proud of that quilt. You did a marvelous job, especially with working in a camper. You have my admiration.

What a great quilt! Wow, kingsize in a camper. I can't manage a kingsize in a full room. You did a terrific job. I'm sure he will love it. I gave up on bedsize quilts. They are just too much of every thing. It's only throw size for me.

The quilt is wonderful - such nice colors! Amazing that you could do that in a camper - my hat's off to you.
