Very nice work and pretty. You will enjoy having it hanging up so that you can see it everyday.

Oh how cheerful! Very NICE handwork. It appears to me that you used a buttonhole stitch to sew down the binding on the front??

Gorgeous quilt. Thats the way I hand quilt too, one stitch at a time. I like doing it that way.

I love the gradation of light to darker and I am not sure if that was planned or if it is the camera angle and light hitting the bottom left corner. If you plotted it that way, it is a great element and in my mind, I call it Dawn to Dusk. Please PM me and let me know as enquiring minds want to know.

I am looking at quilting a king sized quilt too, and struggling to think of designs to do. Have you planned yours yet? I would be interested in seeing what you are going to do.
I'm planning to SID around the flowers and then do a diagonal grid. Should take me about a year on my domestic machine!

This hanging I posted was marked using a blue wash-out marker and a purple air fade marker. No sign of any marks left.

OMG! Can I do it?

Hi Nonie! I used the same applique stitch as around the flowers. Only thing I did wrong is to do it "backwards"! Was day dreaming I guess. Wanted the solid stitch on the seam with the --'s going into the binding. I can live with it!
