Looks like what I learned to sew on as a youngster--a bit later both my mother and my aunt had electric motors added to their machines.

Wow Cheryl Congratulations!! This is really a Merry Christmas for you isn't it!! So happy for you!!

You should see my Singer it is almost identical to yours but mine is a 1950s and is electric.

I love that yours is a treadle! What a treasure!!

Really a very beautiful machine and cabinet. I also learned to sew on a machine just like that. (my grandmothers)...Mom has one just like it that was converted to electric that I sewed on for years making clothing. I hope that Mom will gift hers and Grandmas to me someday. Have fun "playing" with your new baby. They are truly a joy to sew on. Hugs :D
