Default Labyrinth Quilt Top Finished

A few weeks ago Barbwest was crying in her quilt pieces. She was attempting to make the Labyrinth Quilt by Debbie Maddy. Many quilters gave her advice on how to fix the problems she was encountering. I also gave her advice. But as I read the responses and her reaction to them, I knew she needed an intervention. I had her send me the quilt pieces and pattern and went about recutting the quilt to equal parts. Not a small task as it was a large queen or small king size quilt. I then set to work remaking this wonderful pattern. It is a precision quilt. Exact cutting and a constant 1/4 inch seam are a must for this quilt. I put the borders on and it is now finished and ready to go back to it's owner. I did enjoy the precision this quilt required. I hope her son is pleased with his quilt. His mom will finish it with her wonderful hand quilting. Enjoy! Luann

Kudos to you for helping out. I love this pattern and bought it a few months ago. Not that I am ready to make it but was concerned that it may not be available when I was ready. Now I have a little insight also to the skills I will need.

The quilt came out beautiful. Barbwest selected some wonderful colors for it too.

What a wonderful thing for you to do! I love the illusion of interweaving in this pattern.
