A case of desperation leading to inspiration -- the top grew so much my backing piece wasn't big enough - So I made it bigger

Thank you, all! I really like the way this turned out - even though it matches nothing in my house - time for a redo!

Very impressive. Beautiful. Glad it survived being laundered, but would expect nothing else. Great job. Thank you for sharing.
Desiderata (Max Ehrmann) - Walk placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.

Really lovely! You are going to have such fun looking at each blockagain and again, re-living the making of it and the wonder of seeing how it turned out.

Thanks for inspiring me even more. I have the book, and the fabric I want to use. Now all I have to do is wait until after Christmas to start on it! You made a very stunning quilt! Kudos!

    Lovely quilt!
A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

Love your quilt! I would paint my bedroom for a good backdrop for that quilt. I think I would go with the slightly darker cream/taupe colour in the quilt.

lol, Tartan I repainted my room last year a nice light soft brown... matches everything since my color preferences seem to bounce all over... I went from a red satin comforter, to a green and blue quilt to this one - within the year.

Thanks again all for your feedback. I really do love this quilt
