Here is a lap quilt that is now finished at Midnight Eastern Standard time, that I have been working on since 6pm EST. I think it turned out great:):)

Henry I love it! Didn't I say your next quilt would be smashing?! Is this one of your recent kit purchases? The bears look familiar....anyway kudos on a spectacular job!!

Thanks! The center panel is from one of the kits I purchased. The rest of it is from fabric i had here at home already. The white blocks with the bear or tree on it was actually an old bedsheet I had here at home in the closet.

The center panel comes from the kit but when i opened the kit there were no directions/instructions. So i just decided to do my own thing. :)

here is another look at it

Well nice decisions! It worked out well for ya! I love the reuse of old sheets. And it really does look great. How long you been at this again?

Sweet me too. As far as quilting goes. Have you sewn for awhile? I think you had learned from your grandmother, right? It's so great you're keeping that going. And with such beautiful things!

Well, look at that, Henry. You did a great job. I love the theme and the reuse of fabric/sheets. Way to go!

I have been sewing since I was about 14 years old. My mother showed me how to sew as did school because I needed to electives to graduate my senior year so I took this class called Teen Living(did a lot of sewing) and Home Ec(cooking). I learned quilting from my grandmother.

I like your quilt Henry. Nice work. You sure do get a lot of projects completed. Are you keeping any of your quilts or are they going to other people?
