Thread: Large Block Quilt with Batik Border

    For ages I have wanted to do a large block project and this quilt has 18" blocks. I also had about 3 yards of this lovely dark ink blue batik and I wanted to incorporate that too.

    I am really pleased with the finished item, even if it took me just over a year to hand quilt it.

    It does and I have just had a search in my sewing room, well more like a closet, and cannot find the source! That has taught me a lesson. Keep in a notebook where the source of my ideas have come from and index them so that I can find it again.

    If and when I come across that block, I will certainly post it.
