the last I-spy quilt that I got finished just in time for christmas

This one is my 16 yr olds quilt. I was a little worried that I wouldn't get it done in time, but it all worked out good. She wanted a poly batting(I used a low loft poly)she loves it. It has a nice drape to it.

What a great quilt. I want to make one for my DGD, but am having trouble finding "I spy blocks" to put into it. Did you get charm squares, swap with friends or just go through your stash? Just curious.

Most of them I did in swaps. I did guy special fabrics and go through my stash and buy other peoples scraps to get them all. I started over a year ago collecting these blocks.
