Sometimes family is not what you are born into, but a gift from which we draw our strengths, share love and laughter, and give. This is what you all have. You are all truly blessed. The quilt is beautiful.

Beautiful quilt and a heart touching story. God bless you and the newly-wed couple. I pray also that God will comfort the sister in this time of grief.

Much better said by her than by me. I agree with all she said.

God Bless you and your family! Your story is a beautiful one, I cried reading it. Blessing to the happy young couple! The pillow and quilt are both beautiful! A very sad ending to your story and prayers to the wife for her loss.

Oh, my! Such a sad story, so one must look for a silver lining here, for sure. Good times must surely be ahead! The quilt and pillow will surely become lifetime treasure. I found this saying online and used it on the label of a portrait quilt of my brother in law several months ago after he passed away.
"When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure"
