Sewing Room
#1
I have lived in my house for 10 years and finally decided the sewing room had to be finished. So everything has been moved out and has turned my house into a series of paths with piles of fabric, quilting books and patterns, sewing machines, and WIP's. The floor was bare fir and it is now sealed with polyurthane and gorgeous. My husband said I needed to scrape the loose wall paper so next thing I know half the ceiling is laying on the floor! with a cardboard still on the ceiling, OK so I continue the scrapping and uh-oh the card board starts coming off! Well fortunately it has bead board on the ceiling and wow is it going to look great so my two day project is on day 5 and counting. This is the on going saga. My grandson is still trying to figure out how all that stuff came out of that little room.

Well it is a fix up with a zero budget, tires and dentures have left us broke for a while. But I am one that buys things ahead and then the little Variety/hardware shop the owner is buying one of my old machines, so I have some money on account with her, wall paper purchased 2 years ago from the local auction and left over paint from other friends. Will take care of the walls and ceilings and while I am at it a fresh coat of paint on shelves.
