What a wonderful quilt and quilting "job". The colors are so peaceful and your quilting accentuates the pattern instead of fighting with it!

Your quilting enhanced the simplicity of this quilt. I really like the color scheme and the layout. Thanks for sharing.

Both the quilt and the quilting are beautiful.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments...means a lot to me!

    Hi A,
To make the diamond sashing I measured every 1" and that's where you want your needle to hit using a ruler. My Innova was delivered march '11 and I didn't start freehand till july '11 to complete quilts. Charisma from the board was kind enough to let me quilt some her tops to get my feet wet and give me practice. I haven't taken any LA classes...yet! When I bought my machine a 3 day training class was given for maintenance and how to use the machine..wonderful class. Please don't get discouraged...i'm going to PM you!

I don't think I will ever be that good. Straight lines are so much harder than wavy and diagonal lines are really the pits.

Beautiful job. I like the diamonds in the sashing. I would never have thought to do that.
