Here are the 7th and 8th of the checkerboard flowers I've done for my BOM. I'm still waiting for the rest of the blocks, but since we're taking off on a 3-month long snowbird adventure, I'll be three months behind again when we get back. Bummer.

No, the post office will hold it, and my son will pick it up once per month. We don't stay anyplace long enough to have our mail forwarded. We just travel south and east (from Oregon) and keep going until we feel ready to come home.

I love your blocks. You do good work. Thanks for the link to the BOM. Since you will be on the road for three months, I might have time to catch up with you.

I love your flower quilt, but your avatar quilt is super, I guess you made it yourself, did you design it too? How wonderful to be able to travel at will too, I hope you have the best time ever

My avatar was a small quilt made for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative. It was designed from a greeting card I got when I finished my master's degree. I had permission from the artist. The earrings are made from jewelry jump hoops, so 3-D. It sold at the International Quilt Show in Houston for $72.92. Not sure why the odd amount. I was just glad someone bought it and that some money was raised for AAQI.

Beautiful! Is that rickrack, or pinked edges? I would also be interested in knowing where you got the BOM patterns.
