Default General's Wives Completed Top

Here is the completed top for the General's Wives civil war reproduction print quilt. It consists of 12" blocks. It's too big for me to get it all in one shot on the camera. I bought myself the kit for Christmas, and had posted pictures of the blocks as I worked on them here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t175756.html. I want to get it long-armed and I've just this morning sent these pictures to my LQS for an estimate. As the finished size is 101" x 101", I'm worried that might be cheaper to upgrade my Janome to a machine that can accommodate such a large quilt, than to pay to have this long-armed.

Oh my goodness. That's so beautiful. My daughter is making this too in a BOM from a LQS. I can't wait to show her your finished top.

Love your quilt. I am partial to 'Toile' anyway.

I love the fact that it is done in the blue greys, instead of the brown/gold/tans that so many of the civil war quilts are done in. It's beautiful!
