I made this quilt for my sister and her son last year when he was born. I used colors that went with her theme. On the back I used a flannel horse pattern. I came up with the idea myself and improved it as I went on. The letters are his initials (Graham Scott Nelson). It was a lot of fun and it didn't take too much time. Well I worked on it every evening after work for a few weeks. She loves it and has hung it in her babies room and is thinking of starting to use it.
I am currently starting to work on a baby quilt for my soon to be born baby (Oct 2009). We do not know if it is a boy or a girl yet because it doesn't want to show us... 2 Ultrasounds and still no answer to the sex... Oh well, so I am going to do the quilt with Beatrix Potter fabric. I am very excited to get started, but I haven't decided on a pattern yet. Any suggestions would be great!!!
Thanks,
Sam

That is a dandy quilt, with a lot of work done.
Good job!
Can NEVER go wrong with cowboys <g>.
Right now, my favorite quilt is the disappearing nine patch, but there are so many to choose from ... just browse the site and you will see something that you won't be able to resist the making of.
Congratulations on your pending blessing.
